Celtic vs Rangers Live Stream channels in HD with telecast

By // No comments:
Rangers will look to halt Celtic's charge in a New Year's Eve edition of the Old Firm Derby on Saturday. Celtic head into the game with a mammoth 16-point lead over their Glasgow rivals in the league table, having not dropped points since being held to a 2-2 draw by Inverness Caledonian Thistle back in September. Brendan Rodgers' men certainly head into the match as favourites.

However, it'll certainly be an intimidating trip for Celtic, who haven't won away at Ibrox since 2011. On that occasion, a brace from Georgios Samaras separated the two teams, though Rangers still went on to win the league title by a solitary point. Rather more comforting for Celtic is, however, the memory of their last meeting back in September, when a hat-trick Moussa Dembélé contributed to a 5-1 thrashing of the Gers.

NFL week 14 Preview

— The Cowboys only won by two points, but it was an impressive win on the road against the Vikings in a game where Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott weren’t at their best.— The Vikings are quickly falling out of the playoff contention and out of the hearts of DFS players everywhere.— As long as Jeremy Maclin is out, we can continue to target Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill. The two combined to see 14 of Alex Smith 25 pass attempts.— The Falcons took the lead late in the fourth quarter and lost because of a failed two-point conversion where the Chiefs picked it off and ran it back for two points. Yikes.— Matthew Stafford has been terrific this season, but the Lions’ offense sees a major decline in production outdoors.— Drew Brees had one of his worst games ever at home and I was there to see it in person. That loss essentially took the Saints out of the playoff picture.— Stream defenses against the Rams. Steam defenses against the Rams. Stream defenses against the Rams.— Awful news about Rob Gronkowski, but his injury does give a boost to the rest of the pass catchers in the Patriots’ offense.— Paxton Lynch is not ready to be a starting quarterback. The Broncos’ defense saved the day yet again in Week 13.— My poor Jaguars are 2-10 and it doesn’t appear like there is light at the end of the tunnel. Just a black hole named Bortles that sucks up everything around it.— After a loss to the Packers, Brock Osweiler said that the Texans’ offense was close to breaking out. Do not believe this man.— Not counting Aaron Rodgers, the Packers had six players with at least one carry on Sunday. That’s like trying to share a small pizza with five other people.— The Eagles are 4-1 at home and 1-6 on the road. These massive home/road splits may come in handy the next few weeks.— Andy Dalton completed passes to nine different receivers on Sunday. It’s close, but I still have their pass catchers ranked in this order: Tyler Eifert, Brandon LaFell, and then Tyler Boyd.— The Dolphins are bad.— The Ravens’ defense is really good. Their offense continues to be an easy fade in DFS outside of the occasional Steve Smith or Mike Wallace play.— Right when it looked like Colin Kaepernick was a safe cash game option, he gets benched. He’s a great bounce-back candidate in Week 14 against the Jets.— The Bears really want to give Jordan Howard the ball, as evidenced by his 32 carries. The Bears aren’t going to be playing with many leads moving forward though.— Mike Gillislee stole two more touchdowns from LeSean McCoy. He is the real MVP – Most Vulturizing Player.— The Raiders won another game where they came from behind. I want this to be real, but have a hard time believing in teams that win so many close games.— Rashad Jennings played on 50% of the snaps against the Steelers. Basically, Odell Beckham is the only reliable target left on the Giants.— Ladarius Green could be a thing in favorable tight end matchups. He played on 35 snaps against the Giants and caught six of 11 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown.— Kirk Cousins played fairly well considering his matchup against the Cardinals and the fact that he was missing his best wideout in Jordan Reed.— I sure hope Bruce Arians doesn’t get excited about Carson Palmer 300-yard game (99% chance he will). GIVE THE BALL TO DAVID JOHNSON.— The Buccaneers picked up a win on the road in a game where Mike Evans was held to three catches for 38 yards. Color me impressed.— Who loses games in a more brutal manner? The Chargers or the Falcons? Philip Rivers has had some truly terrible fourth quarters this year.— Cam Newton was punished for wearing arguably his most appropriate outfit of the season. Heads will roll in Carolina after this season.— People (including myself) overreact too often week-to-week. Thomas Rawls went from being the absolute chalk to less than 5% owned. Lessons can be learned here.— Andrew Luck looks poised for a big finish to the season. I’m riding his coat tails the rest of the way, especially in games at home.— J-E-T-S…. Jets! Jets? Jets 😞 It’s hard to have any excitement for this team, for DFS and for fans.

In 13 games last year, Andy Dalton was sacked 20 times and threw for 25 touchdown passes. This year, in 12 games, he's already been sacked 32 times and has just 14 touchdown passes. The Bengals offense doesn’t have the same level of talent that it did a year ago, and although Dalton is not costing Cincinnati games, he hasn’t been able to deliver that little extra “oomph” that the team could use week to week.
Last week was encouraging for Bengals fans; our affiliate called it one of the best games of Dalton’s entire career. He completed 74% of his passes for 332 yards and 2 touchdowns, and was not sacked, in a victory over the Eagles. Dalton was efficient when he faced the Browns earlier this season, completing 68% of his passes for 308 yards and 2 touchdowns.
I’m intrigued to see Robert Griffin III in action again. Here is what I remember: during the preseason, he had some really nice deep passes that were completed, and he looked really fast when he decided to take off a couple of times. In Week 1, the read-option just didn’t work and he was very inaccurate before the unfortunate shoulder injury he suffered on the sideline. Griffin is very much a wildcard heading into this week, after not having played in a game for several months.

The following people will be present and fielding questions from the media:

UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez
UFC featherweight champion and lightweight title challenger Conor McGregor
UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley
UFC welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson
UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk
UFC strawweight title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz
UFC president Dana White

The UFC 205 press conference started the way so many do -- with everyone on stage except for Conor McGregor.

UFC president Dana White took to the podium, excited about the prospects of the massive UFC 205 fight card that features three title fights at Madison Square Garden, but McGregor's early absence was the point of discussion early. Eddie Alvarez, the lightweight champion and McGregor's opponent, steered into his status as the heel of this matchup in New York where McGregor is the fan favorite by taking shots at McGregor and the entire country of Ireland.

"I'm half Irish, right? I'm half Irish," Alvarez said. "I'm disappointed in the country of Ireland right now that this is their representative. [Points to an empty chair] Where is he? Where is he?"

The champion then walked off the stage saying, "Call me when he gets here," as he grew impatient waiting for McGregor to show up. White, asked about his prize fighter's delay and whether there would be a punishment, shrugged. "I'm in such a good mood for this event, it is what it is," he said.

Once everyone had been settled down from the physical altercation, the verbal jabs began flying between McGregor and Alvarez as they set the tone for what should be a heated matchup in the octagon on Saturday night.
Here are the best quotes from the press conference:
McGregor responding to Alvarez's comments on Ireland: "I don't give a f--- about what Eddie says. Who gives a f----? The Irish are back. We've taken back control of New York City. I control New York City. I'm a f----ing pimp ... in a f---ing mink. ... I'm fresh, ready to go. I'm going to shut this man up. Trust me on that."
McGregor on showing up late: "I operate on my own time, and I'm running early on my time."
Alvarez on what his future will be after the McGregor fight: "After I beat Conor and silence the country of Ireland, I'm going to have some pina coladas somewhere. You can find me there."
McGregor on his possible retirement: "I'm only warming up. I'm only warming up. I'll take all them damn belts over there."
McGregor on moving up to welterweight and go for a third belt: "All the belts."
Welterweight champ Tyron Woodley's response: "We punch a way different power in this weight division. Pack a lunch, brother."
McGregor on UFC saying he'll have to give up one of his belts if he has two: "I'll army up and then I'll see what kind of army they bring and we'll go from there. We'll cross that bridge when we get there."
McGregor's prediction for the fight: "I predict I rearrange his face. He's too easily hit. Through all the talking, through everything else, he can be hit too easily. It's happened his whole career. When you're talking about someone with the precision I have, I'm going to hit him and he's going to fall. ... I think one round. If he can hold out and he can drag it into the trenches, I'll take my hat off to him. But he'll never be the same if that's the case."
McGregor on possibility of facing Nate Diaz for the third time at UFC 209: "Possibly. Who knows? But I'm the most active guy up here. And that's a fact. We'll see."
McGregor on improving with each fight: "I looked in the mirror this morning and I said, 'Man, I'm better than I thought I was last night!' All these fights are learning experiences for me. They're very, very enjoyable. I'm very happy [Rafael dos Anjos] p------ out of the first one when I was supposed to get the second belt. I would've knocked him clean out like I said. I'm very happy that I was taken on that detour with Diaz. I got to learn about myself and evolve and go to that next level of my training and of my belief and here we are now and I'm a new version of myself once again."
McGregor on whether he has the mental edge: "I feel he's damaged goods. His career, he's been damaged goods. Looking at him, he's aged, he looks a little gaunt. ... The shots will land whether he's feeling good or feeling bad. My shots do damage and that's it."
Alvarez on being the champion: "I've always been the underground king of this sport. I've always been the UFC champion whether I was here or not. It was just a matter of time before I got here and got this belt and no one is getting it from me."

Scottish Cup Final Scottish Cup Finals 2016 preview

It is the 131st Scottish Cup final, but never before have the two sides competing for the world's oldest national trophy both been outside the nation's top flight.

In all that time, only one English manager has led his side to glory - Reg Smith with Falkirk back in 1957 - and no team other than East Fife in 1938 have lifted the trophy while playing outside the top division.

Those statistics will change as Scottish Championship winners Rangers face Hibernian, who finished third behind them this season, at a sell-out Hampden Park.

Will it be joy for Alan Stubbs in his 100th game in charge of Hibs? Or will Mark Warburton further justify his PFA Scotland manager of the year award by winning his third piece of silverware since switching from Brentford to Ibrox?

The motivation for their two sides could not be more contrasting.

For Rangers, it is the completion of a unique treble, having won the second tier title and Petrofac Training Cup.

For Hibs, it is the avoidance of a triple dose of misery after defeat by Ross County in the League Cup final and the loss to Falkirk in last week's Premiership play-off semi-final, which ended their own hopes of promotion for a second consecutive season.

That's even before you consider the Edinburgh club's 114 years of hurt.

Words from Rangers captain Lee Wallace

"We'll be up against a team hungry to rectify the fact they won't be getting promoted to the top flight. I think it will be easy for them to get themselves up for Saturday as they are playing us. We're the champions and it's a cup final, so there will be 11 highly motivated Hibs players out there. They will definitely be hurting. We're also aware of how long it's been since they won this competition."

The weight of history would appear to favour the Glasgow side, who have only lost 69 of their 348 meetings with Hibs.

However, both the Scottish Cup encounters - and the most recent games - are much more even.

They have faced one another 32 times in the competition, with Rangers coming out on top 14 times and Hibs winning 10.

While Rangers have won three of their five meetings this season and finished 11 points ahead of Stubbs' side in the league table, Hibs have beaten the Ibrox side twice and a 3-2 win at Easter Road last month is freshest in the memories of the two sides.

The final might not only be decided by how Hibs react to their recent lows and Rangers respond to their season of highs but by their contrasting preparations.

Words from Hibernian captain David Gray

"I try not to visualise it too much. It is easy to get carried away with these sort of things. I keep pinching myself to say that I need to prepare as if it is another game of football. Training has been really good all week and everyone is hungry and determined to make it a successful end to the season. We tried to win everything this season and we had the chance to do it, but it is disappointing that we have not managed to do that."

David Haye vs Arnold Gjergjaj fight preview

A complete preview on David Haye vs Arnold Gjergjaj boxing night. On 21st May 2016 the stage will be set to witness great fight between a world known British professional boxer and a Swiss boxer with a perfect record. The fight between Arnold Gjerjaj and David Haye will be held in O2 Arena, London. Skysports have taken broadcasting rights for its viewership in United Kingdom while soccerembed.com, hosts Arnold Gjergjaj vs David Haye fight live stream on this site.

Around 16,000 fans are expected to fill O2 Arena on Saturday while David Haye vs Arnold Gjergjaj won’t begin before 10:00 p.m uk time. It is a massive fight for David Haye who made his comeback to the rink back in January 2016 with a cruising win against De Mori. Haye has been persuing big fights against the likes of Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury and for him to get big names he has to put up superb performances against the boxers like Arnold Gjergjaj and later on against Shannon Briggs. David Haye, a former world champion in cruiser weight and heavy weight category will be playing his second game after a 3 year long gap. Adding on it, he also holds the ring magazine title. He has this unorthodox technique coupled with his sheer punching power, speed and athleticism. Out of the total 29 fights he has won 27 with the knockout percentage of 86.2. He started his professional boxing career 14 years from now. Therefore, he has a great degree of experience at his hands.

He was known as the greatest boxer of his generation and rightly so with the kind of victory he has had over far more experience and superior opponents. He has exceptional record of defeating 6 world champions to date. He has been able to retain his WBA heavy weight title two times in a row along with other titles such as WBC, The Ring and lineal cruiserweight titles. Out of the two games he has lost he was knocked out in one relentlessly. Decision went undecided for a while but then it was deemed as defeat for David Haye.

Arnold Gjergjaj, a Swiss professional boxer started his career at a very early age. He has been Swiss amateur champion for three times. He started his professional career at the age of 25 back in 2005. Cobra’s record reflects 29 win out of the total 29 fight he have had since 2005. This is nothing short of a perfect boxing record. But is it really?

No, not really; most of the fights were against weak or low level contenders in Switzerland. It will only be the second time that he fights outside his home ground. Hence, his experience of performing on foreign soil, against the tide of the crowd is quite bleak which may in turn hamper his confidence.

Not only that, Arnold is up against a world class boxer, one of the greatest of his time. Experience against skill and form will influence the result of the match. Since there is no title on the stake the only effect this fight would make will be on the boxing record. Both the sides seem to be excited about the match and so will be the boxing fans. Don’t forget to watch Arnold Gjergjaj vs David Haye fight live stream in high definition and without any lags only http://bit.ly/boxinglivez

USA vs Canada IIHF Semi Finals preview

Marks Scheifele and Stone each had a goal and two assists to propel Canada to a 6-0 victory over Sweden, who finished fifth in last year’s tournament.  Goaltender Cam Talbot made 24 saves to earn his third shutout of the tournament to lead all goalies.

The loss was Sweden’s most lopsided in Quarterfinals history at the WC, since 1992.

“We were all disappointed in our play in the Finland game, but we knew that it really meant nothing,” Matt Dumba, who also scored, told reporters. “We were still going to have to play three games. We had to take care of business against the Swedes. Unfortunate for them that we played a great game tonight. They played us hard for the first bit. We were just overbearing and imposed our will on them.”

Canada recovered from their first and worst loss of the tournament, a 4-0 drubbing by Finland in their final round robin game, to face Sweden, who finished 3rd  in Group B.

Canada is looking for its 25th gold medal at the World Championships and its second medal in as many years. Prior to 2015, the team finished in 5th place in four consecutive years and had not medaled since 2008 and 2009 when they won back to back silvers. Their last gold medal before 2015 came in 2007.

In 2015, Canada defeated Russia to win gold, a scenario that could happen again with Russia facing-off against a dominant Finnish club in the other Semifinal matchup.

Canada defeated the USA 5-1 in their opening game of the tournament and will face the USA in the Semifinals on Saturday.

Another chapter will be added to the USA vs. Canada book when the two countries square off in the semifinals of the IIHF World Hockey Championships on Saturday at 12 p.m., and you can catch all the action on Comcast SportsNet Plus. (Channel Finder here).

Blackhawks prospects Vincent Hinostroza and Tyler Motte have shuffled up and down USA's lineup throughout the tournament, but have had their share of contributions.

Hinstroza has one goal and two assists in eight games, including a game-winner against Hungary in group play.

Motte, who was named a top-10 finalist for the Hobey Baker Award after a stellar junior season at Michigan, has two assists in eight contests.

USA upset Czech Republic, 2-1, in the quarterfinals while Canada took care of business against Sweden, cruising to a 6-0 victory. The winner of USA vs. Canada will move on to the gold medal round Sunday against the winner of Finland and Russia.

Blackhawks prospect Ville Pokka has two assists and owns a plus-4 rating in eight games for Finland. Artemi Panarin has 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in eight games, which ranks second among all skaters. He also has two game-winning goals, which is tied for first.

USA hasn't captured the gold medal since 1960, and will have to get past the defending gold medalists to give itself a chance to break that streak.

The Warriors will not be facing the opponent most expected would challenge them for dominance in the West. The Spurs were right behind them all year long in the standings and had a shot at 70 wins before losing a few games late in the season. They also were one of the nine teams that beat Golden State in the regular season. The two juggernauts seemed destined to meet in the conference finals, but the Thunder had other plans.

Oklahoma City prevailed against the Spurs in the semifinals in six games, making good on the huge potential they displayed in the regular season. The Thunder might not have put up historic numbers on either end but had arguably two top-five players in Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook and more depth than they've had in years. Enes Kanter and Dion Waiters provided quality minutes off the bench and the struggles to close out games disappeared. If the Thunder continue to play at that level, they could give the Warriors some trouble.

Golden State won all three regular season matchups but two of those games were close, including an overtime win by the Warriors on a Stephen Curry 38-footer. The Thunder have the length, size and athleticism to match any lineup Steve Kerr decides to trot out as well as two elite talents who can take over at any time. It could truly be a challenging series for the defending champions.

For that to happen, Curry will have to be kept in check, which is obviously easier said than done. The two-time MVP returned from injury for the two final games against the Trail Blazers and posted amazing numbers. If he continues to play at that level, there's simply no opponent that can beat Golden State. If the Thunder can do what no one else has been able to and contains him, they will have a chance to pull off the upset.

Murat Gassiev vs Jordan Shimmell Fight Preview

Cruiserweights Murat Gassiev and Jordan Shimmell will meet in a world title elimination fight in the main event of a Premier Boxing Champions card May 17 (Fox Sports 1/Fox Deportes, 9 p.m. ET) at Black Bear Casino Resort in Carlton, Minnesota, PBC announced Friday.

Gassiev (22-0, 16 KOs), 22, of Russia, and Shimmell (20-1, 16 KOs), 27, of Hudsonville, Michigan, will meet for the right to become the mandatory challenger for the 200-pound world title held by Argentina's Victor Emilio Ramirez, who is scheduled for a title unification bout against Denis Lebedev on May 21 in Moscow.

The winner of Lebedev-Ramirez will eventually have to face the Gassiev-Shimmell winner.

"I have seen Jordan Shimmell in the ring, and I feel like this is a good fight for me," Gassiev said. "I'm looking forward to getting back in the ring after the mistake I made last fight. I'm going to be real sharp on May 17, and I will not disappoint."

In his last fight Dec. 18, Gassiev and Isiah Thomas fought to a third-round no contest. The fight was short-circuited when Gassiev accidentally hit Thomas after the bell ended the round and he was unable to continue.

Shimmell's only loss came by lopsided 10-round unanimous decision against Thomas in July. He bounced back with a win in February.

"I'm excited to get back in the ring and fight in another televised bout," he said. "I know I'm in there with a tough, strong opponent, but with my skills and ability, it shouldn't be a problem. As long as I fight smart and do the things I've been training to do, I will come out with the win."

In other televised bouts, Miami's John Wesley Nofire (19-0, 15 KOs), 29, and Joey Abell (31-9, 29 KOs), 34, of Champlin, Minnesota, will meet in an eight-round heavyweight fight. Javontae Starks (13-1, 7 KOs), 27, of Minneapolis, will face Yordenis Ugas (15-3, 7 KOs), 28, a 2008 Cuban Olympic bronze medalist based in Miami, in an eight-round junior middleweight bout.

It is the 12th race of the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup season and the final competition before the Sprint All-Star Race next weekend in Charlotte.

Johnson won this race in each of the last two years, and in total has won at Dover five times, also capturing the checkered flag in 2002, 2009 and 2012. With five wins in this race, he is tied with Bobby Allison for most wins in the 47-year-old track.

In 2016, Johnson has two wins and ranks fourth in points entering Sunday, but has finished out of contention in three of the last four weeks: 17th place in Kansas, 22nd at Talladega and 23rd at Bristol.

Kyle Busch comes to Delaware with the most momentum on the circuit, thanks to a win last week at Kansas and five top-two finishes in the last six races, including victories at Bristol and Richmond. Busch has won at Dover twice (2008, 2010).

Fox Sports 1 has pre-race coverage at 11:30 a.m. ET with NASCAR RaceDay and host Chris Myers. Lightning vs Penguins Predictions from NESN

NESN Prediction: The Sharks’ power play has been highly effective in this series. It has scored in five of the six games, including four goals in the three games played in San Jose. The Predators, as explained above, are playing well at 5-on-5, so they also must keep the Sharks’ potent power play off the board to give themselves the best possible chance to win this game. Special teams easily could be the difference in this Game 7, which is why San Jose winning 3-1 (with an empty-net goal) is our prediction.

ESPN final reviews on the game

This should be a ton of fun, but I just don't see how the Lightning can match the Penguins' depth even if they can somewhat match their speed. Bishop might give the Lightning an edge in goal, but it won't be significant enough to derail a Penguins team on a mission.

Easter The day of Happiness

By // No comments:

Easter is coming closer. Easter wishes and images are send on the day to their friends and relatives on this auspicious day. The week before Easter is called Holy WeekThe modern English term Easter, cognate with modern German Ostern, developed from an Old English word that usually appears in the form Ēastrun, -on, or -an; but also as Ēastru, -o; and Ēastre or Ēostre.[nb 4] The most widely accepted theory of the origin of the term is that it is derived from the name of a goddess mentioned by the 7th to 8th-century English monk Bede, who wrote that Ēosturmōnaþ (Old English 'Month of Ēostre', translated in Bede's time as "Paschal month") was an English month, corresponding to April, which he says "was once called after a goddess of theirs named Ēostre, in whose honour feasts were celebrated in that month".[22]

The week before Easter is called Holy Week, and it contains the days of the Easter Triduum, including Maundy Thursday, commemorating the Maundy and Last Supper,[7][8] as well as Good Friday, commemorating the crucifixion and death of Jesus.[9] Easter images wishes quotes In western Christianity, Eastertide, the Easter Season, begins on Easter Sunday and lasts seven weeks, ending with the coming of the fiftieth day, Pentecost Sunday. In Orthodoxy, the season of Pascha begins on Pascha and ends with the coming of the fortieth day, the Feast of the Ascension.

This interpretation, however, is inconsistent with the chronology in the Synoptic Gospels. It assumes that text literally translated "the preparation of the passover" in John 19:14 refers to Nisan 14 (Preparation Day for the Passover) and not necessarily to Yom Shishi (Friday, Preparation Day for the Passover week Sabbath)[40] and that the priests' desire to be ritually pure in order to "eat the passover"[41] refers to eating the Passover lamb, not to the public offerings made during the days of Unleavened Bread.[42]

Happy Good Friday Images and Wishes to send for Friends and Relatives

By // No comments:
Happy Good Friday 2016 to all. This year Good Friday is celebrated on 25th march 2016. lets see some of the importance of good Friday here. Good Friday is a Christian religious holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. The holiday is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Residuum on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday, and may coincide with the Jewish observance of Passover. It is also known as Holy Friday, Great Friday, Black Friday,[1][2][3] or Easter Friday,[4][5] though the last term properly refers to the Friday in Easter week.

Good Friday is a widely instituted legal holiday in many national governments around the world, including in most Western countries (especially among Anglican and Catholic nations) as well as in 12 U.S. states.[6] Some countries, such as Germany, have laws prohibiting certain acts, such as dancing and horse racing, that are seen as profaning the solemn nature of the day

People send Good Friday wishes images wishes and more stuffs on this day. In the United States, Good Friday is not a government holiday at the federal level; however, individual states, counties and municipalities may observe the holiday. Good Friday is a state holiday in Connecticut,[60] Delaware,[61] Florida,[62] Hawaii,[63] Indiana,[64] Kentucky (half day),[65] Louisiana,[66] New Jersey,[67] North Carolina,[68] North Dakota,[69] Tennessee[70] and Texas.[71] State and local government offices and courts are closed, as well as some banks and postal offices in these states, and in those counties and municipalities where Good Friday is observed as a holiday. Good Friday is also a holiday in the U.S. territories of Guam,[72] U.S. Virgin Islands[73] and Puerto Rico.[74]

The stock markets are closed on Good Friday[75][76] but the foreign exchange and bond trading markets open for a partial business day.[77][78] Most retail stores remain open, while some of them may close early. Public schools and universities are often closed on Good Friday, either as a holiday of its own, or part of spring break. The postal service operates, and banks regulated by the federal government do not close for Good Friday.[79] In some governmental contexts Good Friday has been referred to by a generic name, particularly "spring holiday",[80][81][82] presumably to avoid accusations of violating the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, although neither the word "good" nor "Friday" describes any particular religion.
